VISA Fund: End of Term report

Dear VISA members,

I hope that we are all having a good start for the new semester. Following the VISA election and meeting of the new VISA board, Ms. Bui Thi Thanh Hai (SA Uni - MBA course) was elected as a new VISA treasurer, she will also be taking care of VISA charity fund (Quy Tam Long Vang VISA).

Thank you for your support to VISA fund during my term as a treasurer. Going home at the end of this year, I am very sure that the past 2.5 years will always be one of the most memorable time of my life. This is my last VISA fund report to you.

With the effort of our vice presidents, $1320 was collected for the first semester of 2005, which is a great help to finance the VISA birthday party. We still have $365 in our fund.

$100 from the fund for Vietnamese victims of Agent Orange (VAO) was agreed to donate to 3 victims suggested by Dr. Hai, followed the donation of Ms. Truc, Mr. Thuy, Mr. Ha, Mr. Loc, Ms. Minh.

The balance of this fund ($189.68) is transfered to VISA charity fund. With donations from VISA members of $287 at the party, our charity fund now has $477, which certainly will make it possible for further meaningful donation to Vietnam, our beloved homeland.
