Jane is a fashion designer for Coglin Clothing.  She has just recently been promoted to a new position of Design Manager and has been given a larger office with a fantastic view. This office was formerly occupied by Marcus, the international marketing manager, who is now based in Sydney.
Marcus inadvertently left some files on the computer in his old office which Jane now uses. When Jane browses through these files she comes across a draft report prepared by an independent international marketing advisory body expressing concerns about outsourcing the clothing manufacturing of Coglin Clothing to a certain international group where it is clearly identified that children were being recruited as slave labourers in the clothing industry. A further file contained a draft letter by Marcus to the member who drafted this report inviting a meeting to discuss the matter with the “aim of overcoming any objections to using the proposed manufacturing group”. Another file includes a letter agreeing to pay the member of the international marketing advisory body a “consultancy fee” of $20,000. A later file from the same member of the advisory body supports outsourcing the manufacturing to the international group. It is clear that there is a secret arrangement between Marcus and the member of the advisory body. Jane has since discovered that the manufacturing of uniforms has been outsourced to this group who are notorious for exploiting their workers and do recruit child labour. 

1.   Has Coglin Clothing breached any legal rules by outsourcing their work to the exploitative overseas manufacturing company?
2.   What ought Jane do now that she is aware of the “secret arrangement” between Marcus and the member of the Advisory Body?
