Australia only, the number is the point, not the ranking.

It is interesting! This is only the rank of universitites' competence in Australia. The survey unveils competive capacity between university around Australia. You can pursue with further aspects via: http://www.australian-universities.com/rankings/

With the respect of international ranking, unfortunately, there is no South Australian stands in the top 10 of the world. You can trace this by: http://ed.sjtu.edu.cn/rank/2004/Top%20100%20Asia%20Pacific%20Universities.htm.

Only ANU is proud of top 10 of the regional ranking, Asia and the Pacific. However, "did you know" - the only comfort for Adelaide University is its leading of Group of Eight universities in Australia: http://www.go8.edu.au/

well as far as I know, there is no particular ranking for the group of Eight! what you said abt the ranking, in my point of view, is simply the alphabetical order .

And the Australian universities are undoubtedly far from the so-called top 10 of the world

Uni Adelaide is in group of eight this is the truth but I don't think it's leading in this group.
My poor Uni (UniSA hic...hic...)  is nothing in ranking list. Anyway, you can not expect a more- than-10-year-old university to be famous as other old unies. Time, all we need is time.
Just waite and see what dynamic UniSA can do in the future he..he... :gatling:
